Are you joining Bigg Boss as a secondary host because Shilpa Shetty is busy and may not be available every week?

No, no, not at all. I did Khatron Ke Khiladi with Colors and they called me up and said they would like me to be a part of Bigg Boss as well. I will only do the Saturday show with the evicted contestant, trying to get more gossip of what’s happening inside the house. My show will be high on entertainment because till now people have only seen a one-hour summing up of what’s happening. I will get them the dope on the balance 23 hours.

Which means you have to stay glued to the house?

I have to stay glued to the house because I have to know what’s happening and what to ask. I have been watching everyone from Day One and also making notes. Things that have irked me or amused me. By the end of the week, the list of questions in the questionnaire will get longer and longer.

Of the housemates, who fascinates you most? Whom would you like to interview?

I am waiting for more personalities to unfold right now. Till now, we know them as the moll of the underworld, the supposed wife-beater, somebody who’s been into drugs, someone who has the item girl tag. For a good interviewee, one needs to have a good personality. Also, how well they communicate with the people, how well they speak…

Given a chance, would you be inside the Bigg Boss house?

The Bigg Boss house is not for me (laughs)! I would drive people nuts. I am a very adventurous person and cannot be locked up in one house for 11 weeks. It just doesn’t work. Khatron Ke Khiladi is more me. I will do a good job as an anchor though.

Are you rooting for anybody inside the house?

I like Ehsaan Qureshi. I think he is lovely. He has a great personality, he is entertaining. It’s not necessarily about how controversial you are or how much noise you are making inside the house. Had that been the case, Rakhi (Sawant) would have won last season. I like Ketaki also. Very calm, very nice, very congenial.

What about a quick gossip?

Hmmm… Well, there are two Rakhis in the house. One is the real Rakhi. The other, who is behaving like Rakhi. Now, go figure (laughs)!
