Be with cops to play a cop

Anupam Kher had to spend three days with Rakesh Maria and two days with Javed Ahmed to get into the skin of his character for his forthcoming film A Wednesday. Both Rakesh Maria and Javed Ahmed were in charge of investigating the 1993 Mumbai blasts.

A Wednesday, directed by Neeraj Pandey is based on terrorism. Naseeruddin Shah plays a terrorist where as Anupam Kher is the police commissioner who is on a mission to stop the terrorist at any cost.

To make his character as realistic as possible, Anupam Kher decided to take reference from top cops and spent time with both Rakesh Maria and Javed Ahmed to learn certain nuances like how to react in certain situations and the right body language.
